Fun Campervan

It would be nice, instead of arriving at the same workplace every day to have a bit of variety and visit new places and meet new people.  A number of budding entrepreneurs  have combined their business skills with their love of classic and unusual vehicles with the outcome being  some very unique business ventures.

Pictured above, The Candy Camper sells nostalgic confectionery from a 1974 VW Campervan that has been converted into a sweet shop.  The Camper attends festivals and is available to hire for your party or wedding The Candy Camper also has a mission:

‘To cruise the country spreading sugar- coated fun and sunshine’

Coffee

How about a Cappuccino and a cookie?  No need to queue in Starbucks as The Coffee Camper is on hand to bring you a nice hot drink or perhaps tempt you with their selection of cakes and treats.  The Coffee Camper, a converted Citroen HY van attends festivals and events across the UK and can also be booked to attend your own social gathering.

To remember your special day and to provide some fun and flair, why not hire a unique photo booth for your wedding?  Picabo Photography can provide the ‘Picabus’ a 1971 VW Californian campervan converted into a fully functional photo booth with professional lighting and equipment.  The bus is also available for Birthdays, festivals and corporate events.

Working Wagons

Pizza is on the menu but not delivered to your door in the usual way, instead cooked inside a traditional wood-fired oven housed in a Land Rover no less!  The Mobile Pizzeria has recently introduced ‘Scarlette’ a red Land Rover Defender in addition to their original mobile oven housed on a trailer.  They cook up tasty pizzas made from fresh ingredients in a number of locations and also attend festivals and other events.

The Splitscreen Ice Cream Co

Now time for dessert and how about an ice cream served from a 1964 VW factory built van, one of only five remaining worldwide.  The Splitscreen Ice Cream Co has a range of 25 delicious flavours and if you’re tempted why not try one of their ice-cream cookie sandwiches?  They attend festivals and events and can also be hired for your wedding or party gathering.

In conclusion if you get a bit bored with your job you may like to follow suit and create a business of your own selling your wares from a campervan, truck or maybe a converted school bus?  If you decide this is for you please keep us updated so we can feature you in next Working Wagons blog?
